Ben Jackson – President, Founder
As a child, Ben was always interested in building. Starting the business in 1980, it was passion more than anything. Not just owning a business, but a construction business. His attitude of hard work and “sure we can do that” enthusiasm kept exceeding client’s expectations and became the basis of his company. Ben is the driving force of BGC CORP. He manages daily business operations and never loses focus on client’s needs. Ben is a NARI Certified Remodeler.
Tony Jackson – Vice President
Tony has been with BGC since 1985. He provides leadership in staffing, training, running jobs, work assignments and estimating. Tony continues to grow the client base with his determination and drive. His passion about construction and knowledge of interior design puts clients at ease. When Tony is not working he can be found playing the piano, keyboards, or guitar. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Emily, their son Robbie and his dog Kirby.
Don Orgil – Director of PM/Senior PM
Don has been with BGC since 1999. His knowledge and experience of the industry was gained through hands-on field experience. He oversees and supervises our construction team and is a true asset to BGCCORP.
Mike Carrington – GOSR Program Director/Project Manager
Mike has been with Ben’s since May 2016. Prior to joining our team, Mike spent over 20 years working in finance and investment. His previous experience with customer relationship management and negotiation has been valuable to him in his current role here at Ben’s. Presently, Mike manages our GOSR projects, doing compliance work for the state, vetting and searching for subcontractors and is principally responsible for the completion of the projects. He is organized, upbeat and always has a positive attitude. When he is not at work, Mike enjoys coaching track, golfing, fishing, reading and traveling.
Justin Bates – Lead Estimator
Justin has been with BGC since 2013. He has worked on projects in the commercial and residential areas. Analyzing project plans, preparing take offs, and estimating cost of material and labor are his focus areas. Justin holds a degree in civil engineering and furthered his studies in construction management at SUNY Farmingdale. Justin enjoys working out, lifting, basketball and reading
Dave Bartlett – Project Manager
Dave has been with BGC since 2012. Starting out as a laborer, he moved up the ranks and currently Project Manager. His dedication and commitment to our clients is bar none. When he is not working he enjoys traveling, listening to music and playing the drums.
Tara Colletti – Office Manager – Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable & Payroll
Tara has been with BGC Corp since 2011. Besides balancing books and crunching numbers, Tara is responsible for all company financials and accounting systems. In her free time Tara enjoys reading, music and spending time with her wild creative group of friends. Tara is an avid Mets fan.
Lauren Norinder – Modular Home Consultant/Director, Social Media Coordinator & Blogger
Lauren has been with BGC Corp since 2015. She is multilingual and has a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Molloy College. Lauren has modular home expertise and sales experience. She is a social media coordinator and manages our marketing, copywriting and blogging. Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, sports and cooking.
Tyra Kasendorf – Claims and Permits Administrator
Tyra has been with BGC Corp since 2012. She handles all aspects of the building department, all utilities and is a liaison to architects and surveyors. Tyra is also responsible for new customer intake and any quick fix with IT issues. In her free time Tyra enjoys cooking, hiking, DYI projects and spending time with her family.
Kyle Johnson – Warehouse Equipment Coordinator
Kyle has been with BGC since 2016. Kyle is in charge of keeping our yard, warehouse and equipment in tip top shape. He is also a liaison between HQ and our field team preparing material or machines when needed.
